Studies indicate that as a holistic therapy, yoga has the potential to relieve both the physical and psychological suffering of people with asthma. This group Yoga Therapy class aims to work with a small group of people that face respiratory conditions as Asthma, Bronchitis, and COPD.


You will experience significant improvement in the peak expiratory flow rate, improved quality of life, asthma improved symptom score, better control of asthma, decreased number of day and night attacks and use of drugs. The energy level will increase, emotional release, eliminating overwhelming feelings related to Asthma attacks. This practice will make you more aware of your habits, routines and how you react to certain situations. Yoga respiratory techniques have been found not only to improve respiratory resistance but also will help you to develop peace and harmony, stay positive and believe in yourself.

Brief Outline Of The Routine

The practice starts with body integration and specific breathing techniques (30 min) that will prepare you for gentle movement (30), moving at your own peace. In the last 10 min, you’ll connect with a feeling of breath awareness through guided meditation. We’ll explore in very much detail your existing breathing patterns and how to slowly incorporate the correct one.  Also, exploring the natural body movement through breathing. By practising conscious breathing you will experience how it helps you to build up your energy and relax the mind.
