Class Description

Have a seat on a chair to breathe, stretch, and listen to your body and inner wisdom!

We all know how important is to keep moving and having a regular exercising routine.

This is a therapeutic class for individuals with restricted mobility or low energy level, seniors, and those who want to take it slow. Also, it is great for people with chronic conditions or a history of injuries.You will seat on a chair activating the energy through breathing, gentle movement and well adapted asanas, relaxation and guided meditation. For practising body balance and body awareness, you will do few standing poses using the chair for support. Some people might say “ this is not for me, it sounds “too easy/ hard ”, but the secret is you will practice simple movements that have a great effect on your body and are essential for your health. After a consistent weekly practice you will be amazed of the results. Chair Yoga practice does wonders! You will leave the class relaxed and confident that you can do it.


At the physical level, chair yoga helps to improve body mobility. You will notice great improvements in your day to day physical activities that require more balance and more body awareness. You will be able to bend, pick things up or reach down. Improved strength which will enable you to continue with your fun activities, hobbies and daily activities for many more years to come. Improved proprioception, a skill of knowing where your body is in space enabling you to coordinate your body accordingly. It gives you greater control over your body and its movement when walking.
