YANG / YIN YOGA CLASS

Class Description

If you feel tired, low energy, overwhelmed and stressed  this class is for you!

This class is a combination of two styles, Yang and Yin complimenting each other. Yang  works on muscles and blood flow allowing Yin to work on connective tissues; tendons, ligaments and fascia. Yang part  is an energizing flow that generates heat in the body, while Yin is a passive part, poses are hold for longer working the lower part of the body—the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine.

Benefits

Yang yoga improves flexibility and circulation while simultaneously increasing stamina. Yin part stimulates the energy channels and brings balance to the organs. It Improves flexibility and joint mobility; calms and balances the mind and body; reduces stress and anxiety; works deeply on releasing tension from connective tissues (fascia, tendons and ligaments). This class can prepare the practitioner for a meditation practice.

A Brief Outline Of The Routine

Will start with body-breath integration (10 min) and continue with Yang part (20 min) energizing flow. The Yin part (30 min) follows at a slower pace holding poses for longer, this way working on deep dense connective tissues and joints in the body. The class ends with guided meditation (15 min) on cultivating unconditional self-love and self-acceptance.
