FUNCTIONAL YOGA – Brathing&Meditation
Class Description
The practice begins with body integration. In the first 15 minutes, you’ll pay attention to your breath, noticing the pattern and how you breathe. In the next 45 minutes, you’ll explore the natural body movement through breathing, and the parts of your body that are used in breathing.
If you are interested in taking this class, you will be asked to provide your medical history, current condition, and what type of exercises you are practicing at the moment. The number of participants for this class is limited. Book an appointment and have a preliminary assessment before starting.
Benefits
With consistent practice, you will eliminate shoulder, hip, and knee stiffness. You will become more aware of how you use your body. Your upper spine will feel more flexible, and your hips more open. Also, you’ll start to notice where you hold emotional tension in your body. All this will lead to a series of benefits for different health conditions.
The practice ends with (15min) guided meditation.
Studies indicate that yoga has the potential to relieve both the physical and psychological suffering of people with asthma. This class is highly recommended for people who face COPD, Asthma, Bronchitis, Allergies, Anxiety, and Stress.
