MARIA MITEA CERTIFIED IAYT  THERAPIST

Maria is a C-IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist, 900H-Certified Yoga Teacher, and a Yoga Workshop Facilitator. She is embracing Classical Yoga (Raja Yoga) teachings and philosophy wisdom thought to the world by the legendary Yogendra family at The Yoga Institute, India, Mumbai, the oldest yoga school in the world,1918.

She is approaching different yoga paths like Yogacara, Laya Yoga, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Theravada Buddhism, Vipassana Meditation, Hatha Yoga, Kriya Yoga, and other more modern styles of yoga movement as; Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga, Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yang/Yin Yoga.

As Yoga Therapist and Teacher, she is honored to work with you in a general class setting and one-on-one Yoga Therapy sessions, carefully supporting and guiding you through breathing techniques, movement, guided relaxation, and meditation. She strongly believes in the therapeutic approach of yoga and its benefits. It is possible to rise completely above the illusions and limitations of life and gain knowledge, and health through the practice of yoga.

EDUCATION– C-IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist by the International Association of Yoga Therapists,

– 900-Hours Yoga Teaching Certificate in Classical Yoga, from The Yoga Institute, India,
– Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Management of Production Systems, Transilvania University, Brasov, Romania;
– CMII Comprehensive Certification (CMIIC), awarded by the National American University,  Institute of Configuration Management;
– Bachelor of Pedagogy and Psychology; Ion Creanga Pedagogical University, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.
