RESTORATIVE YOGA -BREATHING&MEDITATION
In this class, you’ll find a greater sense of ease, rejuvenation, and stress release.
Class Description
In this practice, props, blankets, bolsters, balls, whatever you will feel that helps you ease and relax in a restorative pose. You will feel gently stretched out, open, and refreshed only by simply resting in the pose. We’ll take time for meditation on body-mind awareness. After, you’ll hold 3-5 passive poses for 3-8 minutes each, all to teach your body to release tension and stress in a more conscious/aware state. Practicing Restorative Yoga regularly will help you find a greater sense of ease and release tension. It is excellent for people who practice intense workouts, stretching, running, hiking, spend long hours on the computers, practice intense texting, experience anxiety, do forceful movement and repetitive movements, and experience mind irritation and body discomfort.
Everyone is encouraged to listen to their body, respect its essence and wisdom, and become aware of their deepest nature.
